General Terms and Conditions of Rental

1. Purpose

These general terms govern the short-term rental of accommodations offered by Résidence Les Palmerèves, located in Martinique (France). Any booking implies full acceptance of these terms.

2. Booking and Confirmation

The booking is confirmed upon receipt of the deposit (or full payment depending on rate conditions) and email confirmation. The balance is due no later than 30 days before arrival. For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, full payment is required.

3. Rates and Tourist Tax

Prices shown do not include the tourist tax. The tourist tax, in accordance with Martinique regulations, varies by accommodation:

  • Villa of the Palms (F4): €2.63 per adult per night
  • Soleil Levant Apartment (T3): €2.25 per adult per night
  • Bleue Nuit Apartment (T2): €1.88 per adult per night

It will be added to your total booking amount.

4. Cancellation

  • Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: refund of deposit minus 10% management fee
  • Cancellation between 15 and 30 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount retained
  • Cancellation less than 15 days before arrival: no refund

All cancellations must be notified by email to reservation@residence-lespalmereves.com.

5. Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM. Outside these hours, a supplement may apply subject to availability.

6. Occupancy

The maximum number of persons is specified in each accommodation description. Any undeclared excess occupancy will result in immediate termination of the contract without refund.

7. Pets

Pets are not accepted without prior written agreement from the host.

8. Inventory and Security Deposit

An inventory is carried out at check-in and check-out. A security deposit may be required. It will be returned within 7 days of departure, minus any damages noted.

9. Liability

The tenant is responsible for any damage caused to the rental property and its contents. The host declines all responsibility for theft, loss or damage occurring in common areas or to vehicles.

10. Equipment

A travel cot, if requested during booking, is provided free of charge. Assembly is the responsibility of the tenant.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Fort-de-France (Martinique).
